Relationships

You have lots of titles. If you are a woman you can be a Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, and many others. You could be a coworker, a boss, and an employee. Your title depends on what relationship you are being viewed through and there are many, many titles that apply to each and every one of us. Does this hold true for businesses though?

I am looking for any examples or thoughts that you might have on what relationships you track between two organizations. What titles do you use? What information is important? RE8 shell and navigation

Hi everyone,

We are hard at work on designs for RE8.  We are currently working on the application shell and navigation for RE8.  We need some of your feedback in order to get this thing right. Anyone interested in providing feedback should contact me at nick.quagliara@blackbaud.com

This is what I need.

1) Your willingness to participate

2) An ideal time for us to talk about the designs over the phone (as well as a good number to reach you at)

3) About 15 - 30 mins of your time

I will send interested individuals high res images of the designs to look over before we discuss over the phone.

Required Fields..when adding new records

What data do you collect for every record?  We are currently re-working some add forms and would love to get your feedback. 

  • What would simplify your data entry? 
  • What fields do you include when adding constituents from a Batch? 
  • When entering new records what do you use most frequently?  Records, Batch, Import
    • Explain why you use one over the other (does it depend on the number of records, is it an organization policy, is the data coming from an acquisition or new alumni).
  • When adding a new constituent, what percentage of the time do you have spouse/partner information?  (80% of the time I know that they are at least married, I use the the marital status to track this instead of adding the spouse information)

Do you produce Donor Financial Reports?

We are looking for examples of Donor Financial Reports and would love to see examples from your organization! Examples could include Endowment Financial Statements, Scholarship Reports, or any other reports you produce for your donors.

We’d love to see report templates, actual sample reports, or even a list of data that you typically include. Any information you can share will be greatly appreciated.

Alternatively, if you’d be interested in speaking with us about the trials and tribulations of donor financial reporting, we’d love to hear from you!
